May is Huntington’s Disease Awareness Month.

This disease is an inherited condition that causes nerve cells to break down in the brain over time.

On Saturday, the Huntington’s Disease Society of America hosted their annual walk virtually.

In Duluth, a group called Team Hope was created to execute the walk. The goal was to spread hope and awareness. as well as, raise money for the disease.

Those who participated in the walk Saturday were encouraged to walk at their own pace and share pictures of themselves on Facebook.
